So apparently the FDA is advising people to not eat peanut butter, lest they die? Didn't the Bush Administration do away with the FDA and send all of the bureaucrats to Gitmo back around '0 3?
Anyway, I wouldn't take it too seriously, as we all know that the shell that remains of the FDA is heavily tied to the multinational Nutella Corporation, and the apple butter industry.

Yeah, when the Bush administration decides they have to regulate on a business, you know it must be bad...
Tell me how life in Guatemala is. I guess you;re hearing all the news from USA that's bad including the fact that John Travolta's son died from a seizure but that there was a miracle on the Hudson River -
a plane with 155 people out of New York to No Carolina US Airways flight landed safely with all passengers ok? We are watching every moment of Obama's journey to Washington DC this weekend on the train much the same path as Lincoln took for his inauguration. The peanut butter scare is minimal - buy organic and there would not be a problem? I saw Gran Torino today with Clint Eastwood - awesome. Love, Mom
We were worrying about this yesterday and looked it up; apparently it's not peanut butter in the jar (or peanuts) that are a problem, it's many things made with industrial peanut butter, which can come in tankers that hold up to 1700 pounds. so, you can eat a pb&j, but maybe, don't right now, eat a peanut butter flavored clif bar or a peanut/crackers combo in the little packet. I'm sure you know this but since you are in Guatemala I would just like to say "cacahuetes!"
