Unrelated: Pulled up YouTube to satiate a minor Leonard Cohen fixation . . . does anyone have strong feelings one way or the other about Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah?"

This is amazing! Perhaps we can print some large photos of it when you get back and make posters.

Also, I have a deep adoration of Leonard Cohen, as a musician and a man, but also very much enjoy Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah, kd lang's version, and also even Rufus Wainwright's version. Is that bad to say? I think it just goes to show what an awesome song writer old Mr. Cohen is. Or perhaps that I am easily pleased. Have you seen the documentary about him? I know you're not a big movie person but music documentaries seem to be easier for you.

As for the "Hallelujah" question: listen to Rufus' Wainwright's version of it. It's quite amazing, but it does sound a little like the Jeff Buckley version. Since they're both sort of lazy when they sing and all...
